We want to learn how MBSE is being used around the world and are launching a new series MBSE around the World. In the first episode, we visit Sweden and talk to Tom Strandberg. Tom is a consultant at Syntell and a veteran of systems engineering in Sweden and INCOSE. He told his systems engineering story as a tour speaker at the first Nordic Systems Engineering Tour in 2013 in the talk Looking Back to Look Forward – Reflections of 15 years of Systems Engineering development and the way forward.
We talk about how MBSE is applied in Sweden. How it is used in industry, what is the state of education, where the challenges are, and many more. Of course, we also want to take the opportunity to talk about our guest’s special topics around MBSE. For example, Tom is the organizer of the Scandinavian Systems Engineering Summer School and also co-organizer of the Nordic Systems Engineering Tour.
